Ford Fiesta Engine Noise

I have recently noticed a strange noise coming from the engine of my Ford Fiesta. It sounds like a tapping or clicking noise and I am worried that something might be wrong. Has anyone else experienced this issue and knows what could be causing it? Is it something that can be fixed or should I take it to a mechanic? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Katie, I have also experienced a similar noise in my Ford Fiesta. After doing some research, I found out that it could be caused by a faulty valve or lifter. I would recommend taking it to a mechanic to get it checked out and fixed.

I had the same issue with my Ford Fiesta and it turned out to be a loose heat shield on the exhaust. It's an easy fix and you can do it yourself. Just tighten the bolts holding the heat shield in place.

I suggest checking your oil level and changing it if it's low. Sometimes engine noises can be caused by low oil pressure. I hope this helps!
