How can I improve the suspension on my Ford Galaxy?

I recently purchased a used Ford Galaxy and have noticed that the suspension is not as smooth as I would like it to be. It tends to bounce and make a lot of noise when going over bumps. What can I do to improve the suspension? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Helen, there are a few things you can do to improve the suspension on your Ford Galaxy. Firstly, you may want to check the condition of your shocks and struts as they could be worn out. If they are, replacing them with new ones can greatly improve the smoothness of your ride. Additionally, make sure your tires are properly inflated and aligned. This can also have a big impact on the suspension. Lastly, you may want to consider upgrading to a performance suspension kit for a smoother and more stable ride.

Hi Helen, I've had a similar issue with my Ford Galaxy's suspension and I found that getting a wheel alignment and balancing helped a lot. It's a small and inexpensive fix that can make a big difference. Also, check the condition of your control arms and ball joints as they can also affect the suspension. Hope this helps!

Hi Helen, one thing you may want to look into is getting some new coil springs. Over time, these can become worn out and cause a bouncy and noisy ride. Replacing them with new ones can greatly improve the suspension. Additionally, make sure to regularly check your suspension components for any signs of wear and tear and replace them as needed.
