How do I know if my Ford Kuga's engine oil needs to be changed?

I have a Ford Kuga with a diesel engine. It has been running for about 4 years now and I'm not sure if I need to change the engine oil or not. How can I check if the oil needs changing and how often should I do it?

The best way to check if your engine oil needs to be changed is to use a dipstick. Pull out the dipstick, wipe it clean, and then dip it back in. Pull it out again and check the oil level. If the level is below the minimum mark, then it's time to change the oil. As for how often you should change the oil, it's usually recommended to do it every 10,000 miles or once a year, whichever comes first.

Another way to check if your engine oil needs to be changed is to look at the color and consistency of the oil. If it appears dark and thick, then it's time for a change. Ideally, your engine oil should be a clear, golden color and have a smooth consistency.

In addition to checking the oil level and color, you should also pay attention to any warning lights on your dashboard. If the oil light is on, it's definitely time for a change.
