How do I troubleshoot a power steering issue on my Ford Puma?

I recently noticed that my Ford Puma's power steering is not working properly. It feels stiff and I have trouble turning the wheel. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

First, check your power steering fluid level and make sure it is at the correct level. If it is low, top it up and see if that helps. If not, it may be a problem with your power steering pump or belt. It's best to take it to a mechanic for a proper diagnosis and repair.

It could also be an issue with the power steering rack or steering column. I would suggest taking your Ford Puma to a trusted mechanic to have it checked out. These types of issues can be tricky to fix on your own.

Make sure to also check your tires and their alignment. Improperly aligned tires can cause problems with steering. If that's the case, you may just need to have your tires realigned.
