How to fix engine overheating in a Ford S-Max?

My Ford S-Max has been overheating and the temperature gauge is showing in the red zone. I've checked the coolant levels and they seem to be fine. What could be causing this issue and how can I fix it?

It sounds like your cooling system may be malfunctioning. I would recommend taking your car to a certified mechanic to check the radiator, thermostat, and water pump.

Check for any leaks in the radiator or hoses. Also, make sure the fan is working properly. If all else fails, it could be a faulty temperature sensor.

Have you been driving on steep or curvy roads? This can sometimes cause the engine to overheat. Try taking it easy and avoiding these types of roads.
