What causes the 'Check Engine' light to come on in a Ford Kuga?

I recently purchased a used Ford Kuga and the 'Check Engine light keeps coming on. What could be causing this and how do I fix it? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The 'Check Engine' light could be on for a number of reasons, such as a loose gas cap, a faulty oxygen sensor or a problem with the catalytic converter. It's best to take your car to a certified mechanic to diagnose the specific issue and make any necessary repairs.

I had the same issue with my Ford Kuga and it turned out to be a faulty oxygen sensor. I would recommend getting it checked out as soon as possible to avoid any potential damage to the engine.

One thing you can try is turning off the car and then turning it back on to see if the 'Check Engine' light goes away. It could just be a temporary issue, but if it keeps coming back, it's best to get it checked out.
