I recently purchased a used Ford Galaxy and want to make sure I am properly maintaining it. What is the correct procedure for changing the oil in a Ford Galaxy and how often should it be done?
ReplyHi Samantha, congratulations on your new Ford Galaxy! The first step in changing the oil is to locate the oil drain plug and place a pan underneath to catch the old oil. Then, remove the cap on the oil filter and use an oil filter wrench to remove the old filter. After draining the old oil and replacing the filter, add the recommended amount of new oil. It is recommended to change the oil every 5,000-7,500 miles.
