Hi Samantha, it's great that you're looking to properly maintain your brakes. One important thing you can do is regularly check your brake pads for wear and tear. If they start to look thin, it's time to replace them. Also, make sure to have your brake fluid changed regularly to keep your brakes working properly. It's also a good idea to have a mechanic inspect your brakes every year or so to catch any potential issues early on.

Hey there Samantha, to keep your brakes in top shape, make sure to avoid slamming on the brakes and try to coast to a stop whenever you can. This will reduce wear and tear on the brakes. Also, make sure to keep your tires properly inflated and rotated, as they can affect the performance of your brakes. And don't forget to have your rotors checked and replaced if necessary.

Hi Samantha, as an experienced Ford mechanic, I highly recommend using genuine Ford replacement parts for your brakes. They are specifically designed for your Ford Focus and will ensure the best performance and longevity. Also, make sure to have your brakes professionally inspected and maintained at least every 6 months.
