What kind of oil should I use in my Ford Ranger for maximum performance?

I recently purchased a 2019 Ford Ranger and I want to make sure I am using the right type of oil to keep my engine running smoothly. What oil should I use and how often should I change it?

Based on the owner's manual, you should use synthetic blend oil with a viscosity of 5W-30 for optimal performance. As for how often to change it, it is recommended to do so every 7,500 - 10,000 miles or every 12 months, whichever comes first. This will keep your engine clean and prolong its life.

You should use full synthetic oil in your Ford Ranger for better engine protection and overall performance. The recommended viscosity is 0W-20 for most driving conditions. It's also important to check your oil levels regularly and change it every 5,000 miles.

I have been using conventional oil in my Ford Ranger for years and have never had any issues. However, if you want to maximize performance, I would suggest switching to a synthetic blend and changing it more frequently, like every 5,000 miles.
