What to do if my Ford Focus engine is overheating?

I am a Ford Focus owner and my engine is overheating. I have checked the coolant levels and they seem to be fine. What could be causing this issue and what steps should I take to resolve it?

Hi Mike, sorry to hear about your engine troubles. First, make sure to never open the radiator cap when your engine is hot, as it can seriously injure you. Since your coolant levels are fine, it could be a problem with your thermostat or water pump. I suggest bringing it to a trusted mechanic for a diagnostic test.

Hey Mike, another possibility could be a clogged radiator or a faulty radiator fan. Inspect your radiator for any debris or blockage and check if the fan is working properly. If not, you may need to replace it.

Hi there, I've had a similar issue with my Ford Focus before and it turned out to be a problem with the head gasket. This can be a costly repair, but it's important to get it fixed as it can cause further damage if left untreated.
