What type of engine oil should I use for my Ford Fiesta?

I recently bought a used Ford Fiesta and I'm not sure what type of engine oil I should use. It has a 1.0L EcoBoost engine, should I use synthetic or conventional oil? And what is the recommended viscosity?

As a mechanic, I highly recommend using synthetic oil for your Ford Fiesta's 1.0L EcoBoost engine. It provides better protection and performance, especially in cold weather. As for viscosity, you should use 5W-20 or 5W-30 based on your driving conditions.

I've been using conventional oil for my Fiesta's engine for years and haven't had any issues. Don't waste your money on synthetic, it's just a marketing gimmick. Stick with the recommended viscosity of 5W-20 or 5W-30 and you'll be fine.

I've found that using a blend of synthetic and conventional oil works best for my Ford Fiesta's engine. It provides the benefits of synthetic while also being more cost effective. I use 5W-30 and it works great for my daily commute.
