Why does my Ford Galaxy constantly overheat while driving?

I have a Ford Galaxy and recently it seems to overheat while driving. The temperature gauge goes up and the engine starts making a strange noise. What could be causing this issue and how can I fix it?

Hi John, this could be caused by a number of issues such as a malfunctioning thermostat, a blocked radiator, or a faulty water pump. I recommend bringing your car to a trusted mechanic to diagnose and fix the problem.

Hey John, make sure to check your coolant levels as well. If they're low, it could also be causing your car to overheat. If that's the case, simply refill the coolant and see if that solves the issue.

Hi there, another common cause of overheating in Ford Galaxy cars is a damaged radiator fan. This prevents proper airflow and can lead to overheating. Consulting a mechanic for a replacement may be necessary.
