Why does my Ford Mondeo overheat?

I've recently noticed that my Ford Mondeo's temperature gauge is constantly in the red, and I've had to top up the coolant multiple times. What could be causing this issue?

It's possible that there is a leak in your cooling system, which would explain why you constantly have to top up the coolant. It could also be a faulty thermostat or radiator. I recommend taking your car to a mechanic as soon as possible, as overheating can cause serious damage to your engine.

Have you checked your radiator fan? It could be malfunctioning, causing your car to overheat. I experienced a similar issue with my Ford Mondeo and replacing the radiator fan fixed the problem. But I suggest getting it checked by a professional just to be safe.

I had the same issue with my Ford Mondeo and it turned out to be a faulty water pump. The mechanic replaced it and I haven't had any problems with overheating since. I highly recommend getting your water pump checked as well.
