Why is my Ford EcoSport's engine light on and how can I fix it?

I recently bought a Ford EcoSport and noticed that the engine light is on. It's my first time owning a Ford, so I'm not sure what could be causing this. I want to know what could be wrong and if there's anything I can do to fix it.

It's important to have your car looked at by a certified mechanic as soon as possible, as the engine light can indicate a range of issues. It could be something simple like a loose gas cap, but it could also be a more serious problem with your engine. Don't ignore the engine light and get it checked out.

I had the same issue with my Ford EcoSport and it turned out to be a faulty oxygen sensor. It's a common problem with these cars and can cause the engine light to come on. I would recommend getting the sensor replaced by a professional.

First, check the gas cap to make sure it's secure. If that doesn't fix the issue, it could be a problem with the emissions system. I had this problem with my older Ford and it ended up being a faulty sensor. Get it checked out.
