Why is my Ford Kuga experiencing engine hesitation?

I just purchased a Ford Kuga and have noticed that when I press down on the gas pedal, there is a slight hesitation before the engine accelerates. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

The most common reason for engine hesitation in Ford Kuga is a dirty air filter. Try replacing the air filter and see if it improves the acceleration. If not, it could be a problem with the fuel system.

D

Check the spark plugs and ignition coil. If they are worn out or damaged, it can cause engine hesitation. Consider getting them replaced if needed.

E

It could also be an issue with the throttle body. Try cleaning it with a throttle body cleaner and see if it helps with the hesitation.
