Why is my Ford Mondeo making a clicking noise while turning?

I have a 2015 Ford Mondeo and noticed that when I turn my steering wheel, there is a clicking noise coming from the front end. It seems to be getting worse and I'm worried it might be a serious issue. Do I need to take it to a mechanic or is there something I can do to fix it?

It is likely that the clicking noise is caused by a problem with your CV joints. These joints connect the drive shafts to the wheels and allow for smooth turning. If they are worn or damaged, they can make a clicking noise. It's best to have a mechanic inspect them and replace them if necessary.

I had the same issue with my Ford Mondeo and it turned out to be a loose bolt in the steering column. I tightened it myself and the clicking stopped. Just be careful if you decide to do it yourself, as it can be dangerous if not done correctly. Otherwise, take it to a mechanic for a quick fix.

I recommend taking your car to a mechanic as soon as possible. Clicking noises while turning can indicate a serious issue, such as a problem with the suspension or brakes. It's better to be safe than sorry.
