Why is my Ford Ranger making a rattling noise when I accelerate?

I've noticed that my Ford Ranger has been making a rattling noise when I accelerate, especially when going uphill. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

The rattling noise could be caused by loose exhaust components, such as the heat shields. I suggest taking it to a mechanic to have them check and properly tighten any loose parts.

Another possible cause could be an issue with the drive belt or pulleys. Make sure to have those checked and replaced if necessary.

It could also be a problem with the fuel system, such as a clogged fuel filter. I recommend getting a fuel system cleaner and using it regularly to prevent this issue.
