Why is my Ford Ranger shaking while accelerating?

I recently purchased a used Ford Ranger and I've noticed that it shakes and vibrates while accelerating. What could be causing this issue and how can I fix it?

It could be a number of things, but the most common cause of shaking while accelerating is worn out spark plugs. I would recommend getting them replaced and seeing if that solves the issue.

Another possibility is that your engine mounts are worn out. This can cause the engine to vibrate excessively and transfer the vibrations to the rest of the vehicle. Have a mechanic inspect them and replace if necessary.

Check your tires for any signs of uneven wear, as this can also cause shaking while accelerating. If you notice any issues, get them aligned or rotated.
