How do I fix a squeaky belt in my Ford Puma?

I've noticed that there's a squeaky noise coming from my Ford Puma's engine area whenever I accelerate or start the car. How do I fix this issue and prevent it from happening again? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

It sounds like your serpentine belt may be worn or loose. I suggest checking the tension and if needed, replace the belt. Also, make sure to keep the belt and engine area clean and free of debris to prevent further noise.

Another possible cause could be a misaligned or damaged pulley. I recommend taking your Ford Puma to a mechanic for a closer inspection and potential replacement of the affected part.

In addition to checking the belt and pulleys, make sure to also inspect the belt tensioner and idler pulley. These components can also contribute to squeaky belt noises if not functioning properly.
