I recently bought a used Ford Galaxy and was wondering what type of engine oil is best for it. I'm not sure if I should get a synthetic or conventional oil, and what viscosity would be most suitable. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
ReplyIt's always best to consult your owner's manual for the manufacturer's recommended oil type and viscosity. However, since the Ford Galaxy is known for its strong and efficient engines, a synthetic oil with a viscosity rating of 5W-30 would be an ideal choice.
I've been using a conventional oil with a higher viscosity in my Ford Galaxy for years and haven't had any issues. Just make sure to change it regularly to keep your engine running smoothly.
