To check the engine oil level on a Ford Puma, park the car on a level surface and wait for the engine to cool down. Locate the oil dipstick, which should be labeled with a yellow handle or a picture of an oil can. Pull out the dipstick and wipe it clean. Insert it back into the dipstick tube and pull it out again. The oil level should be between the two marked lines on the dipstick. If it is below the lower line, you will need to add more oil.

An important factor to keep in mind when checking the engine oil level is to make sure your car is not running. This can result in an inaccurate reading and you may overfill the oil. It's also a good idea to check your oil level at least once a month to ensure your engine is running properly. Don't forget to use the correct type of oil recommended by Ford for your Puma.

I always keep a bottle of oil in my car just in case the level is low. It's better to be safe than sorry, especially when it comes to the health of your engine. And while you're at it, don't forget to also check the color and consistency of the oil. If it appears dark and gritty, it's time for an oil change.
