What is the usual fuel economy for a Ford Ranger?

I'm considering buying a Ford Ranger but I'm not sure if the fuel economy will meet my needs. Can anyone with experience tell me what to generally expect from this car's fuel economy?

I've owned a Ford Ranger for a few years now and I can tell you that the fuel economy has been great for me. I typically get around 26-28 miles per gallon on the highway, and around 22-24 in the city.

I've been consistently getting around 23-25 miles per gallon with my Ford Ranger. It's not the best out there, but it's definitely reliable and gets me where I need to go.

I work for a Ford dealership and I can confidently say that the fuel economy for the Ford Ranger is top-notch. Our customers are always impressed with how efficient it is.
