Why is my Ford Kuga engine making a knocking sound?

I've noticed that my Ford Kuga's engine has started making a knocking sound while idling. It's been happening for a few weeks now and I'm worried it could be a sign of a bigger issue. Can anyone offer any insight on why this might be happening and if it's something I need to address right away?

It could be a sign of low oil pressure or a worn engine bearing. I would recommend getting it checked out by a mechanic as soon as possible to prevent any potential damage to your engine.

This is a common issue with Ford Kuga engines. It's likely caused by a loose or worn spark plug. I suggest taking it to a certified Ford mechanic for a tune-up and replacing any faulty spark plugs.

I had the same issue with my Ford Kuga and it turned out to be a faulty air filter. Replacing it greatly improved the engine's performance and got rid of the knocking sound. You can easily replace it yourself or take it to a mechanic for a quick fix.
