What type of engine oil should I use for my Ford Kuga?

I recently bought a Ford Kuga and I am unsure about what type and brand of engine oil I should use. I have heard different opinions from different people and I am confused. Can anyone give me some advice on what type of engine oil I should use for my Ford Kuga?

Congratulations on your new Ford Kuga! According to Ford, you should use a synthetic or semi-synthetic 5W-30 oil for your vehicle. It's important to use the recommended oil to ensure proper engine performance and longevity. As for brands, there are many good options available such as Mobil 1, Castrol, and Pennzoil.

I have been using a full synthetic 5W-30 oil for my Ford Kuga and have had no issues. Just make sure to stick to the recommended grade and change it at the recommended intervals.

I prefer to use a high mileage 5W-30 oil for my Ford Kuga as it is specifically designed for vehicles with over 75,000 miles. It helps with engine protection and reduces oil burn-off. As for brand, I have had good experience with Valvoline.
