Why does my Ford Fiesta's engine make a loud ticking noise?

I've noticed that my Ford Fiesta's engine has been making a loud ticking noise lately. It started happening after I hit a large pothole on the road. Can someone tell me what could be the cause of this and if it's something I should be concerned about?

Hi Samantha, it's possible that hitting the pothole caused some damage to your engine. It could be a loose part or something may have shifted out of place. It's best to take your car to a mechanic to get it checked out as soon as possible to avoid any further damage.

I had a similar issue with my Ford Fiesta and it turned out to be a problem with the timing belt. I would recommend taking your car to a trusted mechanic to get it looked at. Don't wait too long or the issue could worsen.

I had a similar issue with my old Ford Focus and it turned out to be a problem with the valve train. It's a common issue with Ford cars, so it's best to get it checked out by a mechanic who specializes in Ford vehicles.
