Why does my Ford Focus shake when I accelerate?

I have noticed that when I press on the gas to accelerate, my Ford Focus begins to shake. It only happens when I am driving at higher speeds. What could be the cause of this and how can I fix it?

It is possible that the shaking is caused by a misaligned wheel or unbalanced tires. I recommend taking your car to a mechanic to have it checked and potentially get a wheel alignment or tire rotation.

Another possible cause could be a worn out CV joint or axle. This can also cause shaking and can be dangerous if left unchecked. I suggest getting your car inspected by a professional.
