Why does my Ford S-Max's engine overheat after driving for long periods of time?

I have a 2017 Ford S-Max and recently I've noticed that the engine temperature rises significantly after driving for long periods of time. I've checked the coolant levels and they seem fine. What could be causing this issue and how can I fix it? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

It's possible that your car's radiator is clogged with debris and needs to be cleaned. This can greatly affect the engine's temperature. I recommend taking it to a trusted mechanic for a thorough inspection and cleaning.

Another potential reason for overheating could be a faulty water pump. This is responsible for circulating the coolant throughout the engine and if it's not functioning properly, it can cause overheating. I suggest getting it checked and replaced if necessary.
