Why won’t my Ford Puma start after it has been sitting for a while?

I have a Ford Puma that I drive regularly, but whenever it sits for more than a few hours, it struggles to start. The battery and starter are both relatively new, so I don’t think it’s a mechanical issue. Any ideas on what could be causing this and how to fix it?

Check your fuel system, it may be clogged or the fuel pump could have a leak.

It could be an issue with your spark plugs or ignition system. Have those checked and replaced if necessary.

Make sure your car's computer is up to date and not sending any error codes. If it is, try resetting it and see if that solves the problem.
