Why is the Ford Puma engine making a knocking noise?

I recently noticed a knocking noise coming from my Ford Puma engine. It seems to happen more often when I am accelerating. I'm concerned it could be a serious issue. What could be causing this and should I be worried?

It is possible that the knocking noise is coming from a faulty ignition system. I would recommend taking your car to a certified Ford mechanic for a diagnostic test to determine the exact cause.

Another potential cause of the knocking noise could be a low oil level or dirty oil. Make sure to check your oil levels and schedule regular oil changes to prevent engine issues.

I experienced a similar issue with my Ford Puma and it turned out to be a loose exhaust pipe. Have a professional check all the exhaust components to ensure everything is secure.
